Philanthropist of the Year

The Coalition of Charitable Organizations established the Outstanding Philanthropist Award to recognize individuals or families for exceptional generosity, whose gifts of time, talents, expertise, and direct financial support has contributed significantly to the success of nonprofit organizations in southwestern North Dakota. Nominees have shown evidence of long-term direct financial support and its impact on nonprofit organizations. They have contributed to a variety of nonprofits, demonstrated leadership in giving, and given encouragement and motivation to others to take leadership roles in philanthropy. The Outstanding Philanthropist Award encourages others to make a difference and to be philanthropic.

We will recognize the 2011 Outstanding Philanthropist(s) at the Dickinson Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Banquet on Tuesday, October 25 at the Ramada in Dickinson.  The banquet provides a unique occasion for you and your organization to publicly express your appreciation to those who do so much to enhance philanthropic support in our community and is a celebration of the spirit of giving.
