Become a Member
Since 1996, the Coalition of Charitable Organizations (COCO) has been working to build relationships between fundraising entities, potential donors and those who advise people how and where to give in southwest North Dakota. Nonprofit board members, directors and staff are encouraged to become members of COCO. Currently, 27 nonprofit organizations and four allied professional members belong to COCO. Meetings are held quarterly from September through June. Current annual membership dues range from $500 for Gold nonprofit members to $300 for Bronze nonprofit members for a two year membership. Allied Professionals membership dues range from $650 dollars to $350 for a two year membership. Nonprofit Board members are invited to attend the quarterly meetings.
The Coalition of Charitable Organizations (COCO) is funded through membership dues, donations, and fees from educational sessions.

Our By-Laws state regular membership entails the following: “Regular membership shall be open to regional charitable organizations actively involved in fund development that choose to support the Coalition’s mission and agree to pay the required dues. Each member organization shall have one vote.
Our By-Laws state an allied professional membership entails the following: “Allied professional membership shall be open to any professional engaged in philanthropic efforts and interested persons who choose to support the Coalitions’ mission and agree to pay the required dues. Allied professional members may vote at membership meetings.”
